Building design for consequence class CC1–CC3 facilities
Beyond water management facilities, we provide building design for other buildings and structures of consequence classes CC1, CC2 and CC3 (DSTU 8855:2019) — from a warehouse or hangar to an industrial building or utility networks.
The consequence class reflects how serious the consequences of a facility’s failure could be for people, the environment and property. It determines the requirements for surveys, calculations, expert review and construction control. For CC2 and CC3 facilities, expert review of the design is mandatory, so getting the class right from the start saves unnecessary costs and delays.
We can act as general designer: we bring in designers from related disciplines, coordinate all sections and are accountable to the client for the integrity of the documentation.
