Technical condition survey of buildings and hydraulic structures
Before reconstructing, buying or changing the use of a building, or after a flood or damage, you need to know exactly what condition its structures are in. We survey buildings, pumping stations, dams, sluices, canals and other hydraulic structures and issue a report you can rely on for further decisions.
A survey shows what can stay, what needs strengthening and what should be replaced. This saves money: reconstruction often costs less than new construction, and a defect detected in time costs far less than a failure.
Our specialists carry out visual and instrumental surveys, determine the technical condition category of the structures and prepare a technical report with conclusions and recommendations. Work stages
Stage 1. Getting to know the facility
We study the available documentation and operating history and clarify the purpose of the survey.
Stage 2. On-site survey
We inspect the structures, record defects and take instrumental measurements.
Stage 3. Analysis and calculations
We assess the load-bearing capacity and determine the technical condition category.
Stage 4. Report and conclusions
We hand over a technical report with conclusions, recommendations and, where required, a technical condition passport.
